If you are serious about security you should be using a UNIX based OS. If you have a windows OS use a virtual machine and install Linux on there. Distributions such as Kali and Backtrack are derived from the Debian package manager which is Linux based. Do not let the Command Line interface deter you. Linux is flexible and offers a lot more control than windows machines. Thank you up-loader. It is greatly appreciated.
